What Are Trim, Bleed and Safe Margins
Trim lines indicate where the paper is cut to size, they show the end of the finished product.
The Bleed is the area on the edge of the document that will be trimmed to create the final product. It acts as a tolerance zone and allows for a small amount of paper movement or design inconsistencies. Artwork and background colours often extend into the bleed area,
Safe margins refer to the zone between text and graphics that are not meant to be trimmed.
